Leadership Circles
In Alpinista's Leadership Circles, participants explore the notion of leadership as personal and professional practice. Practice wisdom builds with experience, critical reflection, mutual engagement, and action. Designed to invite self discovery in a group, these small, intimate circles provide space for individuals to deepen their ability to effectively lead using approaches and methods that emphasize collective leadership. Learning is experiential and reflective. As with most Alpinista offerings, Liberating Structures and other participatory methods are integrated as tools.

Circles are developed iteratively, with responsibility shared among group members. Practices include:

  • Retreat-style Immersion
  • Practice with Distributive Leadership Methods
  • Reflection on Field Experience

Individual Leadership Coaching
Alpinista provides individual coaching with leaders that occupy both formal and informal leadership roles within the organizations where they work and communities where they contribute.
