Liberating Structures (LS) are participatory methods that disrupt conventional patterns in how we work together, revealing the collective wisdom of any team. The repertoire of 33 structures make it possible to immediately include, engage and unleash everybody in creatively shaping the future.
In this workshop, participants will be introduced to a set of methods that support the development of teams that thrive, inviting collective ownership, increased coordination, and deep engagement of shared work. When Liberating Structures are applied, many conventional approaches that people use all the time—open discussions, managed discussions, brainstorms, and presentations—become less attractive or fade away. Over time, the structures help you distinctly shape the culture of an organization and unleash the creative power of teams that work together within it.
In this 2-day immersion workshop, attendees will participate in 12+ Liberating Structures and learn to apply them in their everyday and strategic work. On the first day, we will learn and practice the most versatile structures. The second day, we will emphasize design and application, providing time for coaching, peer consultation, and practice stringing LSs together to meet a specific purpose.
Coffee, tea, lunch, and light refreshments will be provided both days.
